The company received one of the most renowned international design awards, the iF Gold Award, for the largest immersive installation in the world, located in the Wu Kingdom Helv Relic Museum in Wuxi, China.
The audiovisual show created by ACCIONA Producciones y Diseño for the Wu Kingdom Helv Relic Museum in Wuxi, China has been awarded the iF Gold Award in the Interior Architecture discipline. It is the highest distinction given by the iF Design Award, one of the most renowned international prizes in the field of design. The award-winning show is the world's biggest immersive audiovisual installation, capable of welcoming 3,840 visitors daily. It has a 650 square-metre screen, distributed between a 400 m2 interactive floor and a 250 m2 projection screen that surrounds viewers, allowing them to interact with the filming.
The international jury panel of industry professionals granted the iF Gold Award to ACCIONA Producciones y Diseño, praising the quality of the project implementation, the spatial concept and the low environmental impact, among other aspects.
The award-winning audiovisual show achieves an immersive experience that allows you to explore the most significant passages in the history of the Kingdom of Wu (Chinese dynasty from 514-496 BCE) in 15 minutes. This was achieved by synchronising 22 high resolution projectors and over 30 computers capable of processing signals from 14 tracking cameras that capture visitors to generate real-time 2D and 3D graphics that blend with the existing film. The sound comes from about thirty sources located in different parts of the room.
The iF Design Awards are holding their 62nd edition this year. More than 5,000 projects from 53 countries were submitted and only 75 received the highest award in one of the 5 Disciplines (Product, Packaging, Communication, Interior Architecture and Professional Concept).
The award ceremony took place last Friday at the BMW Welt in Munich, at a gala attended by more than 2,000 international design industry professionals.
