• The project has a budget of €50 million and is scheduled for completion within 36 months

The Basque government, through the Basque Railway Network (Euskal  Trenbide  Sarea), has awarded a consortium comprising ACCIONA, Iza  and Altuna y Uria the contract to construct the Miraconcha-Easo phase 2 section of the San Sebastián metro. The works have a budget of €50 million and are scheduled for completion within 36 months.

The section of this project, which spans 1,943 metres, is largely underground and includes the new stations of La Concha and Easo.

La Concha station will be constructed in the heart of the city centre, in a major commercial zone, close to the city’s historical centre, between Paseo de La Concha and Plaza del Buen Pastor.

Easo station will also be completely underground, and on the surface will be located in the Amara and Morlans neighbourhoods, in the vicinity of the existing EuskoTren station, which it will link to in its final section.
