    ACCIONA obtained its first contract in Norway in 2015.

    The contract consists of the design and construction of two twin tunnels, each running for 18.5 km, as part of the Follo Line Project, which will join the cities of Oslo and Ski. The infrastructure is promoted by the Norwegian public railways administration (Jernbaneverket) and when it draws to a close, in 2021, it will be the longest railway tunnel in Scandinavia

    Railway and station for the town of Moss

    The project includes a 10.3 km, twin-track line, some of which will run above ground. The new line also requires the JV to build two tunnels, each longer than 2 km (Moss Tunnel and Carlberg Tunnel), two shorter cut-and-cover sections, a tunnel portal and a new train station with 800 m-long platforms and a pedestrian bridge.

    The EPC contract includes design and construction of two twin tunnels of 8.75-meter interior diameter, drilled using 4 TBMs. Each tunnel is 18 km long.

    E6 RANHEIM - VÆRNES

    E6 RANHEIM - VÆRNES

    Design and construction of a section of the E6 highway that will connect the villages of Ranheim and Værnes in the region of Trondheim. This section will consist of a four-lane highway covering a total of 23 km, eight of which will be underground, with four tunnels between one and four kilometres long.
