ACCIONA has been awarded 6 contracts for executing the water cycle management in Lima, with a popoulation of 9 million inhabitants. The consortium contributed to reach the Sedapal 2013-2017 strategic goals. The goals are key for the social development of the city and are based on three fundamental aims: to increase access to drinking water and sewage, to reduce non-billed water volume and for improving the quality of services.

The corrective maintenance service aims to ensure the operation of the drinking water and sewer secondary systems, and contributes to SEDAPAL's strategic objective of “Improving Corporate Management”, contributing to the optimization and reliability of the water management cycle.

The Lima districts in which ACCIONA will operate include Miraflores and Barranco, the most developed areas of the city. The La Chira WWTP is located in Chorrillos, another of the districts covered.
