A concession is an instrument for long-term collaboration and association between the government and the private sector in order to execute certain infrastructure projects. By means of a concession, the government grants a right to a private company to design, build, renovate, finance, manage or maintain an infrastructure, and to provide a service for a specific period of time in exchange for a financial consideration provided by the government itself or the end users.
ACCIONA is one of the leading companies in the private development of infrastructures worldwide, both in terms of number of projects and turnover. This company has the accumulated experience of over 40 concessions down through its history, based on a team with a global focus that is fully tuned in to local needs and peculiarities.
