Silence, ACCIONA's electric vehicle brand, has begun the sale of the revamped version of its S02 scooter.

The new model has improvements in stability, design, and ease of driving, with the aim of strengthening its leadership in urban mobility.

Its main new feature is the incorporation of a front wheel with larger diameter, which increases stability and safety. In addition, for the first time, the S02 has a space under the seat with capacity to store a full-face helmet.

The weight of the vehicle has been reduced to 132 kilograms, which improves its agility in urban environments and favors its intensive use by delivery drivers and professional fleets. Its approved range is 138 kilometers, leading its segment in this parameter.

The new S02 will be available in two versions: L1e, approved as a moped with a speed limited to 45 km/h, which can be purchased for €2,990, and L3e, with a maximum speed of 85 km/h, which has a retail price in Spain of €3,490.     
 
 
CONNECTIVITY AND REMOVABLE BATTERY

Like its predecessor, the new S02 has a removable 5.6 kWh battery that can be charged from a household power outlet or replaced with a fully charged battery in less than 30 seconds at any of ACCIONA's 180 battery swap stations in Spain or its 20 stations in France.

This battery is the same as the one used in other Silence vehicles and is therefore compatible with both the S01 and the S04 nanocar.

The S02 incorporates connectivity through the My Silence app, which allows vehicle location, keyless access, battery status checks, and temporary transfer to other users. It also offers three driving modes: Eco, City, and Sport.

These features make it ideal for both private use and delivery fleets or urban vehicle sharing services, as its removable battery system allows it to operate continuously without waiting for recharging, while its connectivity improves its efficiency and operability.
