Silence, ACCIONA's electric vehicle brand, and Zetrack, Agria Hispania’s subsidiary dedicated to the development of agricultural machinery, have signed an agreement to integrate Silence's removable and interchangeable battery technology into Zetrack's electric tractors.

The aim of this innovative project is to promote the electrification of the agricultural sector with modular and sustainable solutions.

The batteries developed by Silence — manufactured at its factory in Barcelona — are removable, rechargeable and interchangeable in less than a minute, so their use in agricultural machinery will improve operational efficiency and reduce vehicle maintenance and recharging costs, while contributing to the decarbonization of the primary sector.

Both companies will also explore potential synergies in the field of digitalization, collaborating on the technological integration of their digital platforms — MySilence and MyZetrack — which will improve machinery connectivity and battery management.

The agreement reinforces ACCIONA's commitment to decarbonization and electric mobility in new productive sectors.

Zetrack is a Spanish company dedicated to the design and manufacture of smart and sustainable agricultural machinery. It develops electric tractors and robots equipped with advanced automation technology and zero-emission energy systems.

Silence is a pioneer in two- and four-wheeled electric vehicles with the same removable trolley-style battery system, which can be replaced in less than 30 seconds at more than 180 ACCIONA battery swap stations across Spain and at 20 stations in France.

These 5.6 kWh batteries, which will be installed in Zetrack's agricultural vehicles, can also be charged using conventional plugs, making the vehicles highly versatile and convenient to operate.
