ACCIONA has been recognized as the leading company in the electric utilities sector according to the analysis carried out for the development of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), which recognizes the best sustainability practices among the main companies in the world.

With 90 points, ACCIONA achieves for the first time the leading position in this prestigious index. The analysis - carried out by SAM, a specialized firm of S&P Global - recognizes numerous practices of the company when integrating the most demanding economic, environmental and social criteria into its management model.

The elaboration of the DJSI requires the analysis of more than 3,000 companies worldwide from 61 industry and business sectors. The methodology used has recently been awarded by GlobalScan as the preferred sustainability benchmark for financial analysts.
