ACCIONA Service has been awarded two contracts for the provision of ancillary services to the Arab International Academy and Kings College.The contracts cover the overall management of support services, including activities such as cleaning, general maintenance, fire prevention systems, pest control, security, and gardening and sickbay services. The award of these two new projects is added to the renewal of the existing cooperation agreement with the Al Maha Schools.

These contracts consolidate the implementation of ACCIONA Service as a service provider for the education sector in Qatar, in which it already has more than 10 operations, including some of the most prestigious schools in Doha (Sherborne International School, Finland-Qatar International School, SEK International School…). 

ACCIONA Service also has a strong presence in the hospital sector in Qatar. It undertakes the management of the cleaning and waste disposal systems in the hospitals of Al Wakrah, Al Khor and Dukhan, plus pediatric emergency services, 5 health centers, 50 emergency medical services and the central warehouse of the HMC, owned by the Hamad Medical Corporation. ACCIONA Service also provides ancillary kitchen services at Hamad General Hospital and the new Hamad Medical City.

The company also covers the ancillary services of the embassies of Argentina, Cuba, Peru and Spain.

ACCIONA Service started its activity in Qatar in 2013 as a provider of ancillary services, and since then has consolidated itself as a benchmark company in non-core activities and facility management services for public and private clients.
