ACCIONA has reached an agreement with MAPFRE Inmuebles for the sale of the Ombú office complex, located in the Méndez Álvaro area, one of Madrid's most up-and-coming neighborhoods.

Ombú—currently occupied by EA Sports—has a surface area of over 14,000m² across its main and secondary buildings, as well as more than 240 parking spaces. The complex includes 12,000m² of green spaces, integrated into its design, and has undergone a comprehensive renovation carried out by the architectural firms Foster + Partners and Ortiz.León. The sale process was advised by CBRE and JLL.

The building was inaugurated by ACCIONA in June 2022 in what was formerly the engine room of the Industrial Gasification Society. Working closely with the architects, ACCIONA carried out a meticulous and comprehensive refurbishment of this building, transforming it into a unique office complex with the highest standards of sustainability and energy efficiency, which contributes to the regeneration of one of the areas with the greatest development potential in the capital.

With 30 years of experience, ACCIONA's real estate division is one of Spain's leading housing development and management companies, having developed more than 20,000 homes in Spain, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, and Brazil.
