  • NEW DIPLOMA: The course, offered by Madrid’s Tomás y Valiente Institute, will train students to meet administrative and Human Resources needs.

ACCIONA will launch a dual vocational training program based on the advanced qualification in Administration and Finance, in collaboration with the Tomás y Valiente Institute and accredited by the Community of Madrid. The initiative aims to attract and develop technical talent aligned with the company’s actual needs in the fields of financial administration and human resources.

The new program will run over two academic years. During the first year, students will receive theoretical training in the classroom and undertake 130 hours of work experience. The content developed by ACCIONA will be integrated into the program through optional modules.

In the second year, students will apply what they have learnt and explore the various subjects in greater depth through a work placement with over 900 hours of practical training within the company.

The specific content will focus on two main areas: financial management applied to construction works and services, and human resources management. The content includes budget monitoring, managing payments to suppliers and subcontractors, employment documentation, and recruitment and payroll processes.

The course will begin next September and the enrolment period will run from June to July.

ACCIONA’s partnership with the Tomás y Valiente Institute had already been underway for several years, during which time more than 50 students on the Advanced Diploma in Administration and Finance program undertook work placements at ACCIONA, with 59% securing jobs with the company.

The creation of a dedicated course will enable the training offered by this center to be tailored to ACCIONA’s talent needs.

Furthermore, ACCIONA has launched a Vocational Training Office to promote technical roles aligned with the company’s needs.

The office will coordinate initiatives to recruit, train and monitor vocational training students for the group’s various businesses. Furthermore, it will link training to the labor market, strengthen collaboration with educational institutions and facilitate the integration of technical talent into ACCIONA. Finally, the new office will reinforce the role of the tutor as a central figure in the students’ learning experience.
