Being part of the Climate Change A List highlights the excellence of ACCIONA and ACCIONA Energía in their climate action strategies, their alignment with a low-carbon economy, and their pathway to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The rating considers the quality of the company’s public information, its environmental leadership, and best practices in climate strategy and action, including with science-based targets.

CDP's recognition reaffirms ACCIONA and ACCIONA Energía’s leadership in sustainability indices. ACCIONA has been included in the 2025 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations index by Corporate Knights and is named in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World) and the Dow Jones Sustainability Europe Index (DJSI Europe) as the most sustainable electric utility in the world.
