- The initiative is part of the social impact plan associated with the runway rehabilitation project at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport in Porto
ACCIONA has joined the Bike Attitude project, led by the Bravia and Trial Portugal teams, as part of its social impact plan for the runway rehabilitation works at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport in Porto.
Through the sport of trials cycling, Bike Attitude promotes social inclusion and personal development among children and young people in vulnerable communities, strengthening their self-esteem, resilience, and ability to integrate into society.
The agreement, which will run throughout 2026, will help improve quality of life in local communities, especially for vulnerable children and young people. The collaboration includes programs aimed at promoting physical and mental well-being, as well as participants’ educational and career development. ACCIONA will support training and mentoring initiatives, encourage healthy habits through sports, and contribute to scholarship programs designed to strengthen young people’s educational and career prospects.
As part of this collaboration, ACCIONA will take part in events organized by the project throughout 2026 in different cities across Portugal. These events will help raise the profile of both the project and the company’s work at Porto Airport through exhibition spaces open to the public.
This collaboration reinforces ACCIONA’s commitment to creating social value in the communities where it operates by combining infrastructure development with initiatives that promote inclusion, equal opportunity, and people’s well-being.
