  • Rubén Camba, ACCIONA’s director of Infrastructure in Southeast Asia, took part in the forum organized by the Makati Business Club (MBC)

On February 3, ACCIONA sponsored one of the forums organized by the Makati Business Club (MBC) in the Philippines, which focused on the future of the infrastructure sector in the Philippines and the support of the private sector to the government in the development of innovative projects.

Ruben Camba, ACCIONA’s director of Infrastructure in Southeast Asia participated in this roundtable discussion, highlighting the importance of the government’s role in the development of infrastructure projects and in creating of a favorable investment environment that encourages the creation of new jobs for Filipinos. ACCIONA’s objective is to provide its international experience and technical knowledge in the sector to help the government carry out major projects.

In his speech, Rubén Camba emphasized ACCIONA’s desire to learn about and participate in the projects currently being developed in the region, as well as those planned for the long term. He also highlighted the value of the partnership between ACCIONA and the Makati Business Club for both countries.

During the forum, MBC finance secretary Benjamin Diokno said that the Philippines’ development prospects are greatly improving and a hopeful future is expected for its citizens.
