ACCIONA renews its alliance with Alimentaria + HOSTELCO in a historic edition for the 50th anniversary of the Fair

In this context, ACCIONA will promote the pillars of Sustainability and Innovation and will have an exclusive space within The Alimentaria HUB, which will host nearly 200 presentations, congresses, and conferences.

The Facility Services division of ACCIONA, a leading company in the food sector for outsourcing projects of production processes, internal logistics, cleaning, maintenance and consulting, renews for the third consecutive edition its agreement as Partner of Alimentaria + HOSTELCO, which will be held from March 23rd to 26th, 2026 at the Fira Barcelona venue.

This edition is particularly special as it marks the 50th anniversary of Alimentaria, which returns with a revamped program, new meeting spaces, and strategic content focused on the future of the sector. With over 3,300 exhibitors and 110,000 visitors from nearly 60 countries, the trade fair has solidified its position as one of the leading international hubs for innovation in the food, beverage, and gastronomy industry, covering the entire value chain and offering solutions to drive business growth.

In this context, ACCIONA will promote the pillars of Sustainability and Innovation and will have an exclusive space within The Alimentaria HUB, which will host nearly 200 presentations, congresses, and conferences. Within this framework, ACCIONA's Technical and Quality Department, together with the Innovation and Technology area of Facility Services, will host the round table discussion "The Invisible Value: How Technical Services Drive Competitiveness in the Food Industry," on Wednesday the 25th at 10:00 a.m. in the Conference Room by ACCIONA.

In addition, ACCIONA is sponsoring and will present the Innoval Award for the Meat Sector, one of the awards recognizing the most innovative products launched on the national and international market between 2024 and 2026.

The trade fair is also reinforcing its environmental commitment through the United for Sustainability project, which promotes various initiatives to reduce the impact of trade shows and move towards more sustainable events, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
