ACCIONA has received special recognition at the Sustainability Impact Awards presented by Schneider Electric, one of the leading companies in the digital transformation of energy management and automation processes.

ACCIONA has received special recognition at the Sustainability Impact Awards presented by Schneider Electric, one of the leading companies in the digital transformation of energy management and automation processes.

The two companies have worked together in recent years to improve their water sector assets through the use of pioneering technology, for example, a treatment plant management system with AVEVA tools and IoT integration.

In this year's edition, Schneider Electric decided to recognise an integrated approach to sustainability among its clients and partners, as well as efforts to electrify processes through strategies based on digitalisation and decarbonisation.

ACCIONA has been recognised for its commitment to improving energy efficiency and the use of digital tools and technologies, as well as for a series of innovations aimed at mitigating the carbon and water footprints of its projects.

ACCIONA's global knowledge and experience, combined with the expertise of technology partners such as Schneider Electric, means that its Water Operations Coordination Centre (CECOA) has a secure connection to its water infrastructures through real-time data. This information is used to optimise water management systems to make them more sustainable and efficient.
