Water 17 NOV 2025
  • The campaign's objective is to raise awareness about the importance of sanitation systems as a pillar of public health, the economy, and environmental sustainability.

ACCIONA joins the celebration of World Sanitation Day for another year, which will be held on November 19 with the support of the United Nations, to promote global actions to address the water and sanitation crisis.

Under the slogan, "Can you imagine a day without it?", ACCIONA has developed an awareness campaign with the aim of highlighting the vital importance of sanitation systems as a fundamental pillar of public health, the economy, and environmental sustainability.

This year's campaign is structured around two main modalities to maximize its reach and educational effectiveness. The offline campaign includes the deployment of posters and "mupis" (street furniture advertising panels); as well as the distribution of educational brochures detailing the history of sanitation and the creation of a playful-educational magnetic puzzle for families and educational centers to learn about the sanitation circuit.

In turn, the online plan offers a complete and interactive experience through a digital puzzle about sanitation; as well as various digital documents that will be made available to citizens, such as an interactive brochure on the history of sanitation; a guide to good practices to encourage responsible water use at home, and a detailed document on the sanitation projects developed by ACCIONA globally. Added to this is also a social media campaign.
