- ACCIONA’s mobility program is an innovative model in the sector, offering operators the opportunity to develop professionally in international projects of great relevance to the company’s portfolio
ACCIONA has included 20 Peruvian workers specialized in tunnel excavation in the project to extend the tunnels of the 610 railway line between Teruel and Sagunto. This initiative reinforces ACCIONA’s commitment to international mobility in its infrastructure projects, ensuring the continuity of knowledge and specialization in works of high technical complexity.
This milestone is the result of a planned and coordinated process between ACCIONA and various institutions such as UGT FICA, the Building and Wood International Union (BWI), the Federation of Trade Unions FTCCP (Peruvian Federation of Civil Construction Workers) and representatives of the Spanish Government.
The group of Peruvian workers was welcomed in Segorbe (Valencia, Spain) at an event attended by project managers, ACCIONA representatives, the UGT FICA union and other key stakeholders in the project. During the event, the importance of this strategic alliance was highlighted in order to guarantee adequate working conditions for mobilized workers, a fundamental aspect of the company’s model.
ACCIONA’s mobility program is an innovative model in the sector, offering operators the opportunity to develop professionally in international projects of great relevance to the company’s portfolio, increasing the global capacity to retain talent and avoiding the demobilization of specialized knowledge at the end of the work. In addition, the program includes job guarantees, ongoing training and options to return to other company projects in the country of origin, ensuring a positive impact on both the local markets of origin and destination.
This strategy not only promotes the transfer of knowledge and skills, but also fosters innovation in the infrastructure sector by consolidating a constant and dynamic flow of professionals specialized in key skills.
Operational talent mobility is not limited to Peru. ACCIONA is extending this strategy to other key markets such as Chile, the Philippines and the United Kingdom.
