ACCIONA is participating in the "Desalination for the Environment, Clean Water and Energy" congress from 22 to 26 May, organized by the European Desalination Society (EDS). This year it will be held in the city of Limassol (Cyprus) and will cover a series of themes in the field of desalination.

The congress will be an international meeting point for sector professionals to discuss desalination as a sustainable solution in a context of water shortages. The latest technological developments in the field will be reviewed, as well as their cost and application, including socio-economic and environmental aspects. The governmental perspective will also be offered in several presentations made during the event.

For ACCIONA, its presence in the congress is essential, so the company will have a stand where it will present its solutions in the field of desalination. On 24 May there will be an informal presentation at 13:15 (during the lunch break) to present the company's Innovation Department. It will be a time to exchange opinions among sector professionals and get to know ACCIONA's role in the area of innovation and desalination.

EDS is an organisation of European scope for individual and corporate members, including universities, companies, research institutes, government bodies and anyone who is interested in desalination technologies.
