ACCIONA convenes more than 180 professionals, including leaders and experts from infrastructure, healthcare, and sustainability, at its Health and Safety Day 2026, expanding the conversation on workplace safety beyond construction into a broader, cross-industry dialogue.
Under the theme “Healthy Minds at Work: Designing Safety for the Future”, the event focuses on how safety is evolving to encompass not only physical risks, but also psychosocial factors such as stress, fatigue, and workplace pressure.
A key element of the program is a cross-industry Leaders Roundtable and panel discussion, where executives from different sectors share how safety is being embedded into operations, risk management, and decision-making. The discussion highlights that, while industries operate in different environments, many of the underlying risks—particularly those affecting mental well-being and performance—are increasingly shared.
The event also features a plenary session with mental health experts, followed by technical discussions on the application of a human-centered safety approach in day-to-day project environments, particularly in high-pressure and fast-paced settings.
The event follows the launch, on April 15, of ACCIONA’s Smart Control Center in the Philippines, which enhances real-time monitoring and safety management across its projects. This facility complements the company’s advanced intelligence systems developed at its headquarters in Spain, strengthening its ability to implement more proactive and data-driven approaches.
