The company took home this prestigious international accolade for implementing geographic information systems in its construction projects

ACCIONA has received the Special Achievement in GIS (SAG) award at the ESRI Awards 2025, held in San Diego, California. This international recognition honors excellence in the use of geographic information systems (GIS) by organizations that demonstrate a significant impact on their operations.

ACCIONA was the only Spanish company to receive an award for its global track record in the use of geographic information systems in flagship projects in Spain, Australia, and Norway. The company has applied GIS technologies in areas such as earthworks management, social impact, production control, and traffic planning.

Christopher Arnold, Director of Major Projects in the United States, and Vincent Ochiel, GIS Manager in New South Wales, accepted the award on behalf of ACCIONA.
