  • With this seal, the Top Employers Institute acknowledges ACCIONA’s commitment to putting people management at the core of its strategy

ACCIONA has obtained the Top Employer 2023 certification in the Philippines, awarded by the Top Employers Institute, one of the most demanding and esteemed in the world in the field of corporate people management.

To obtain this accreditation, organizations are evaluated through the HR Best Practices Survey, which analyzes aspects related to people strategy, work environment, talent recruitment, training, employee wellbeing and diversity and inclusion, among others.

ACCIONA has been awarded the Top Employer 2023 seal in the Philippines for its Human Resources management, that promotes the values of respect, equal opportunities, diversity, gender balance, merit and continuous communication among employees.

The company thus revalidates the Top Employer certificate it obtained last year in Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Australia, the U.S., and Canada, accrediting its leadership in human resources management in its main international markets.

ACCIONA in the Philippines

ACCIONA inaugurated its new Philippine commercial offices in Manila in April 2019. The company entered the country in 2016 with the contract for the design, construction, and one-year operation and maintenance of the Putatan II brackish water treatment plant, a project worth €90 million, that serves an area of almost 6 million people.

It recently inaugurated one of the country's most emblematic bridges, the €380 million cable-stayed bridge in Cebu. In recent years, the company has also won major projects in the country, such as the construction of two sections of the railway that will link the town of Malolos with Clark International Airport, 80 kilometers north of Manila.
