The $363-million Trambaix Tram project consists of a new tram line with three branches (T1, T2 and T3). It has a combined length of 15.8 km with 29 stations, most of which are at grade, and includes the fare collection system and one maintenance and storage facility.

The project involves the design, construction of civil works, vehicles and systems, financing, operation and maintenance, as well as the provision of rolling stock. This system connects the municipalities of Barcelona, Hospitalet and Baix Llobregat, and includes a total of 29 stations, with connections to Metro lines 3 and 5, and two other suburban train stations.

The fleet consists of nineteen 32.5-m long carriages with a capacity for 230 passengers. Payments are based on an availability mechanism until the project is turned back over in 2032.
