Joaquín Mollinedo Chocano joined Acciona in 2008 and was appointed Chief Institutional Relations Officer in 2011, overseeing the group’s corporate affairs, regulatory strategy, communications, and brand.

 

His career spans both the public and private sectors. He holds a law degree and served in senior public-sector roles including Parliamentary Counsel and Secretary General for the Regional Assemblies of La Rioja and Madrid, as well as Head of Research at the General Council of the Judiciary.

 

In the private sector, Mr. Mollinedo served as Director of Institutional Relations and Regulatory Affairs at Spanish telecommunications company Amena, later becoming General Counsel and Secretary to the Board following its acquisition by France Telecom/Orange. He was subsequently Secretary General of the Spanish communications and media group Vocento prior to joining Acciona.
