Over the last six years, more than 20 million people have visited the website to discover the importance of looking after the planet.

The Green Awards are one of the top sustainability awards in Latin America. They were established in 2013 with the aim of giving visibility to projects that are committed to society and the environment. They have an international jury that includes Grupo Bancolombia, Conservation International, National Geographic, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and WWF.

2022 marks the 9th Green Awards, in which over 500 applicants from 12 countries submitted their applications for the 9 available categories.

ACCIONA's content website on sustainability and climate change, which was awarded the best project in the COMMUNICATION category, is the only award-winning project in Spain.

ACCIONA is the leading Spanish company in renewable energy and sustainable infrastructures, with all of the company's activities aimed at mitigating the effects of climate change. As a result, the Sustainability for All website is a project that aims to challenge society to become aware of global warming and of how urgently we must take action to slow it down. The website has news stories, reports, dynamic infographics, illustrated videos and interactive games, all of which are developed with the aim of raising awareness about looking after the planet.

Since the start of the project, more than 20 million people have visited the website. It is committed to contributing to Goal 13 of the Sustainable Development Goals, CLIMATE ACTION, in order to improve education, awareness and human and institutional capacity with regard to mitigating climate change, adapting to it, reducing its impact and raising warnings earlier.

The awards ceremony was held in Miami at the end of a week of meetings and conferences on sustainability and climate change projects. Our colleague, Griselle G. Moncada, ACCIONA Marketing Manager in Mexico, collected the prize awarded to Sustainability for All on behalf of ACCIONA and all of the people who make this honest and vital communication project possible.
