Silence motorcycles, ACCIONA’s brand of electric vehicles, will be used by the Croatian Postal Service. The company has acquired 100 units of Silence S02 model, to be used for deliveries in cities such as Zagreb, Split, Rijeka and Zadar, among others.
The purchase of the Silence motorcycles is in line with the project to transform the Croatian Postal Service's fleet to a sustainable, zero-emission service. By using electric vehicles, the postal company aims to reduce its CO2 emissions by more than 1,300 tons per year. To this end, the Postal Service is also developing its own network of charging stations for electric vehicles, although the removable battery of the Silence motorcycles allows them to be charged at any power socket.

FOR FLEETS
The Silence S02 electric scooter is the model intended for fleets and professionals. Its technical features and design make the motorcycle more robust and maneuverable, allowing a more intensive use of the vehicle. In addition, it is possible to add a trunk with a 300-liter capacity.
The S02 scooter (L3e) reaches a speed of 90 km/hour, while the moped version (L1e) reaches a speed of 45 km/hour. Both versions operate with the same removable battery, which incorporates wheels and a handle for convenient and safe trolley-like transport. In addition to charging the battery directly from the vehicle, this model also allows to remove the battery and charge it easily at any domestic socket.
Silence and the S02 have other companies and public agencies as clients, such as Correos, Ara Vinc, BSM, Just Eat, the Barcelona and Madrid city councils and ACCIONA itself. In fact, the S02 is the motorcycle used by the company's motorcycle-sharing services, available in several cities, including Barcelona and Madrid, among others.
