- ACCIONA is the only Spanish company to be ranked in the CDP Water Security 2018 'A list' for its sustainable water management.
- The company also ranks in the Leadership band in the fight against climate change, having attained an A- score.
ACCIONA again obtained the highest score, as in previous years, and is the only Spanish company to be included in the 'Water A List', which is contained by only 27 companies worldwide, of over 2,000 that were analysed. CDP rated factors such as how the company manages water risks and opportunities, the commitments made in its water policy, and its water strategy, as expressed in its Sustainability Master Plan.
As for climate management, ACCIONA reached for the eighth consecutive year the Leadership band for its performance against climate change; which contains only 358 companies from around the world, out of nearly 7,000 that were assessed.
CDP is a not-for-profit charity that runs the global disclosure system for investors, companies, cities, states and regions to manage their environmental impacts. It represents 650 institutional investors with a combined 87 trillion dollars in assets.
Its inclusion in the CDP Climate 2018 and CDP Water 2018 indices ratifies the position of ACCIONA's offer to public and private clients, as well as to other stakeholders. ACCIONA's focus on sustainability in its strategy is increasingly valued in public tenders at a domestic and international level, where it is increasingly rated as a positive factor or even a requirement.
