- With these awards, the cement company recognises the most outstanding works in different countries
- To date, ACCIONA has installed 94% of the wind turbines of the Ventika and Ventika II parks totalling 252 MW, and is already generating 40% of that power during testing
ACCIONA Energía Mexico has received two awards at the 24th CEMEX Works Awards for the construction of the Ventika and Ventika II wind farms, located in the town of General Bravo, Nuevo León. With a joint capacity of 252 MW, these parks, delivered turn-key by ACCIONA Energía for a consortium consisting of Fisterra Energy, CEMEX and private investors, are at an advanced stage of construction, with 40% and 94% of its power already installed and 40% being generated during testing.
The CEMEX Works Awards recognise the most outstanding building works, both in Mexico and internationally, and are awarded by a jury consisting of representatives of the building industry, academia, governmental institutions and private bodies.
