• During the congress, which will be held from May 31 to June 2, the company will have a stand where it will present its extensive experience in the rail sector and its main international projects.

ACCIONA is sponsoring the 25th edition of the Asia Pacific Rail Congress, which will be held in Bangkok (Thailand) from May 31 to June 2, to discuss the future of rail projects in Asia.

During these three days, ACCIONA will have a stand where it will present its main international rail projects, such as the construction of sections 2 and 4 of the Malolos-Clark Airport Railway, which the company is currently carrying out in the Philippines for a total amount of 890 million euros.

Section 2 of the Malolos-Clark line consists of the construction of 16 kilometers of elevated viaduct consisting of 396 spans composed of 6,186 segments, each 2.5 meters long and weighing approximately 45 tons. Section 4 requires the construction of 6.5 kilometers of elevated viaduct, a subway access section to Clark Airport and a station at the Clark Airport International Terminal. This new rail line will reduce the travel time between Manila and Clark International Airport from three hours by bus to one hour.

Over the past 25 years, the Asia Pacific Rail Congress has become one of the most exclusive and influential rail gatherings in the region, bringing together more than 25,000 rail leaders from around the world.
