In November, ACCIONA signed two new construction contracts in Poland worth approximately €31 million.
For the first contract, ACCIONA will design and construct a new residential and services building in the city of Poznań (western Poland) for its client Vantage Development. The contract, worth around €18.7 million, also includes the internal gas installations and the remodelling of the exit onto Nalkowska street. The works are expected to be completed during the second half of 2024.
The second contract, awarded to ACCIONA by Poland’s General Directorate for National Roads and Highways, is to design and construct the north interchange with the Opatów ring road, which the company is also constructing. Once these works are completed, drivers travelling on the Kielce–Lublin, Radom–Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski and Annopol–Kraśnik routes will not have to enter the city.
The new junction, awarded to ACCIONA in a contract worth approximately €12.4 million, includes construction of a three kilometre road, as well as access roads to connect the adjoining neighbourhoods and two roundabouts. This new junction will improve road safety for the residents of Opatów and its surrounding areas.
