He holds a degree in Economic and Business Science from the Universidad de Sevilla.

He began his professional career at Banco Cetelem (BNP Paribas Group), before moving to the Santander Group (1994 – 2002), where he held different directorates general, becoming Director General of Santander Consumer Finance in 1999, a position he held until 2002.

He is the founder (2002) and Executive Chairman of Konecta, a Spanish multinational dedicated to the provision of Customer Experience services and digital solutions; applying robotics and automation technologies, artificial intelligence and "big data", that recently reached an agreement to acquire a competitor becoming present in 23 countries, with 120,000 employees and a turnover of 1, 9 bn euros.

He is an investor and shareholder in different sectors such as real estate, agribusiness, mobility solutions, leisure and tourism, and lifestyle, among others. It is also a promoter of public-private investments with the aim of promoting the economic and social development of Andalusia with sustainable investments in digitization, technology, health or energy. During his career, he has been part of the Advisory Council of recognized entities such as AON and Endesa in Andalusia and Extremadura. He currently belongs to the ABC Sevilla Advisory Council, to the CEA Advisory Council, and is a member of the Executive Commission of the Seville Chamber of Commerce.

President of Fundación Konecta, created in 2005, which has among its main objectives the training and employment of groups at risk of social exclusion, especially people with disabilities. Throughout its 16 years of existence, the Foundation has invested more than 13 million euros in social projects, achieving the integration of more than 10,600 people in the countries where it is present. In 2014, he also founded and chairs the board of trustees of Fundación ALALÁ, an Andalusian entity that contributes to the social integration, with equal opportunities, of gypsy children and adolescents from a very disadvantaged neighborhood in Seville, the Tres Mil Viviendas del Polígono Sur y del Estancia Barrera neighborhood of Jerez. He is also on the Board of Trustees of Fundación Cámara de Sevilla, Fundación Dadoris and FIES.

He has received a variety of awards during his professional career, such as the Andalusian Medal for Human Values, awarded by the Andalusian Government (2021), the Gold Medal of the city of Seville (2014) and the Gold Medal for business merit from the Asociación Iberoamericana de Cámaras de Comercio (2015), among others.

He belongs to the Board of Directors of Grupo Konecta and APENET, S.L.
