The project includes the design, construction and its operation and maintenance.

Tabuk-2 is one of three plants to be built and operated by ACCIONA in Saudi Arabia for a total of €855 million. The combined capacity of the new plants is 440,000 m3 per day to serve a total population of 2.1 million inhabitants.

The Tabuk-2 WWTP is located in a rural area, specifically in the north of the country, and will have a capacity of 90,000 m3 per day.

ACCIONA will be responsible for its development, design, financing, construction, operation and maintenance for 25 years, as well as the construction of 28 kilometers of recycled water collectors for Tabuk-2.

The treatment plant will have a collection well and pumping station, pre-treatment, biological reactor, sludge line and recycled water pumping station.
