This ACCIONA purification plant treats wastewater from the municipalities of Santander, Astillero, Maliaño, Santa Cruz de Bezana, Liendres and Murieras.

The treatment of the facility includes high load biological treatment in the water line and sludge anaerobic digestion treatment and energy recovery by using the generated biogas.
