We provide the citizens with drinking water Balearic Island, Spain See on Google Maps
The plant, located in the northeast of the municipality next to the S'Argentera stream, has three production lines with a maximum production capacity of 15,000 m3 per day.

Until the creation of the SWRO, Santa Eulalia del Río's only water resource came from groundwater. The strong residential growth of recent years has caused the overexploitation of the aquifers, causing marine intrusion and a decrease in the dynamic level of the wells, which has made it difficult to sustain the supply to the population. Therefore, SWRO guarantees the current and future supply of the municipality and other towns on the island because is connected to the mains water network of the island of Ibiza.

The desalination plant is an example of efficient technology, with a production capacity of 15,000 m3 per day. The project consists of seawater collection, desalination plant, product water impulsion, regulation and distribution tank, dilution system and rejection discharge.

The connection of the SWRO of Santa Eulalia was the first project financed with the sustainable tourism tax in the Balearic Islands and belongs to the Annual Plan to Promote Sustainable Tourism for 2016, being one of the projects to improve the water cycle after the important drought that had suffered, especially Ibiza. This closes the interconnection ring of the desalination plants of Vila, Santa Eulària and Sant Antoni, which will be able to supply the whole island with drinking water.
