Over the River Vistula in Warsaw

The Siekierkowski bridge connects the Mokotów and Wawer districts in Warsaw. ACCIONA was awarded the 'Architecture and Construction Prize 2003' for this project.

The structure, which crosses the Vistula River, has a total length of 826.50 m and is 33.40 m wide. It consists of three elements: A 500 m long cable-stayed bridge over the main river bed, supported by two 90.7 m high H-shaped towers, a 251 m long bridge based on composite structure on the left bank lagoon and a 75.5 m long bridge on the right bank lagoon.

ACCIONA has been operating for a decade in the construction and real estate sectors in Poland, through Mostostal Warszawa and ACCIONA Nieruchomosc. Poland is one of the key markets in ACCIONA's globalization strategy.
