Given the current situation of deficit of water, it is essential to use all possible resources available.

The LIFE RAMSES project aims to improve the quality of reclaimed water by applying new anaerobic purification techniques with plastic supports in the main stream of a Water Waste Treatment Plant (WWTP), reducing treatment costs and increasing the volume of irrigation water in agriculture.

The project is being carried out at Blanca WWTP (Murcia, Spain), it is coordinated by the water business of ACCIONA and counts with the participation of ESAMUR and the contribution of the LIFE financial instrument of the European Union (LIFE14 ENV/ES/000621).
