Extension of the outer dyke Tarragona, Spain See on Google Maps
The project consisted of extending the current external sea wall to a length of 830 m, following the existing alignment.

It is a vertical dike made of precast reinforced concrete caissons with a length of 67 m, a width of 24 m. and a depth of 322.5 m.

 

The connection of the new dike to the current one is comprised of a sloped dike with protection made of concrete blocks weighing 39 and 59 tons.
