Design and construction of the 'Valle de Aburrá' Metro in Medellín, Colombia.

The main feature of this project was the construction of two lines with a total length of 32 km and 25 stations, such that 40% of the developed area or area suitable for development to be located at a distance of less than one kilometre from any of the system's stations.

Line A runs along the city, from Niquia to Itagüi, a distance of 23.20 km, of which 16.60 km is at-grade track and 6.60 km is viaduct track.

Line B is 5.60 km long, of which 1.20 km is level track and 4.40 km is viaduct track.

The project is completed with a 3.20 km link track. The project was completed in March 1997.
