four General Motors factories in Mexico

The plants cover an area of over 1,000 hectares.

ACCIONA manages the Facility Management contract for General Motors in its industrial complex in San Luis Potosí, and the energy services contract for the four General Motors factories in Mexico (San Luis de Potosí, Silao, Ramos Arizpe and Querétaro).

 

The Facility Management contract, one of Mexico's largest industrial contracts, began in 2015 and will last a total of five years, and employs over 600 workers. The scope of the services includes the maintenance of installations and equipment, specialised and industrial cleaning, management of the paint booth system, administration of filtration equipment, auxiliary production services, management of mobile equipment, administrative services, gardening, among others.

 

In addition, the energy services contract began in 2020 and includes the performance of an energy audit for the four plants and the development of engineering projects, with the necessary recommendations to implement solutions to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions from both production plants and auxiliary installations.
