The Aldoga Solar Farm has a capacity of 380MW, generating the energy to power 185,000 homes annually. This solar photovoltaic (PV) facility is located approximately 20km north-west of Gladstone on the central Queensland coast.
The Aldoga Solar Farm is a flagship renewable energy project on Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) land, which aims to renew and repurpose underutilised state land to generate jobs and drive economic growth.
ACCIONA Energía has signed an agreement to lease the land from EDQ for the purposes of constructing and operating the Aldoga Solar Farm for a period of 30 years.

- POWERING BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY PROGRAM: This program is being delivered in partnership with CQUniversity. A $25,000 annual grant is available to provide local businesses to assist in their decarbonisation.
- LEGACY INVESTMENT PROGRAM: This annual grant of $40,000 is designed to contribute to long-term sustainable development in the region and leave a lasting impact.
- SMALL GRANTS PROGRAM: Individual grants to support impactful local initiatives of up to $10,000 are available for community groups and organisations.
- EDUCATION AND SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: In partnership with CQUniversity, we provide annually 3 x $5000 higher education and 4x $2,500 vocational and educational training (VET) scholarships
