The section is 4.217 km long.The trunk of the dual carriageway is made up of two 7 m carriageways, 1 m inner verges and 2.5 m outer verges, with a median width of 5 m.
Some unique features worthy of mention are:
- El Fresno tunnels, 949 m long on the right-hand carriageway and 923 m long on the left-hand carriageway, which cross Alto de El Fresno.
- The Dóriga viaduct, 194 m long and 13.30 m wide, which crosses the junction with the SL-9 road and the El Fresno stream.
- The Dóriga junction, 3 overpasses and 6 underpasses.
