The Opportunity


We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a passionate HR Officer to join our Victorian regional team, reporting directly to the Regional HR Manager. In this influential role, you’ll provide end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle while also leading the delivery of key HR initiatives and programs across the region.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact—not only by contributing to a dedicated project, but also by influencing broader regional initiatives that enhance our overall people experience. This role would be an excellent next step for a Senior HR Coordinator ready to take on greater responsibility and grow into a broader position or a HR Officer that enjoys a varied role.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide practical advice to People Managers on HR policies, performance management and employee relations, ensuring confident handling of grievances and performance issues.

  • Support workforce planning, capability development, and organisational design.

  • Partner with project teams to deliver consistent HR support across the employee lifecycle.

  • Drive the implementation of performance, talent, and reward frameworks aligned with organisational goals, while offering guidance on cyclical HR processes and benchmarking.

  • Deliver operational HR support across of the employee lifecycle, ensuring consistent application of HR policies and practices.

  • Contribute to employee engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion initiatives, and coordinate regional programs including the annual Graduate Program.

  • Assist with change management, recruitment, onboarding, and compliance.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or a related discipline.

  • Proven capability in an HR role within a large matrixed organisation and advisor skills.

  • Understanding of HR practices, employment legislation, and workforce planning

  • Service orientated and ability to navigate complexity

  • Experience in supporting HR initiatives in a project-based or industrial environment is a plus

  • Experience using Workday highly advantageous and strong MS Office suite skills
