We are looking for an Operations Asset Performance Specialist to join our Operations & Maintenance team in Chicago.If you're a data-driven, solution-oriented individual looking to join a team that turns insights into real, impactful improvements in business decisions and operations, this role is for you!
In this role, you will serve as the key point of contact for tracking and analyzing operational KPIs (such as production and availability) across our renewable energy assets. Your insights will help identify performance deviations, assess risks, and support decision-making alongside regional and site managers.
You will also manage and monitor key service agreements with equipment manufacturers and providers, ensuring contract compliance and supporting claims, warranty tracking, and performance-based penalties. Additionally, you’ll act as a liaison with project partners and the Finance team to support performance reporting and stakeholder updates.
This role reports to the Manager of Optimization and Control and works closely with all sites across the portfolio.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor KPIs (production, availability, etc.), identify risks and underperformance, and recommend corrective actions
Prepare reports for internal use and third-party stakeholders
Oversee contractual performance with OEMs and service providers, including warranty and claims processes
Coordinate with Finance on performance reporting for investors and partners
Support O&M cost modeling and new project handovers from construction to operations
Lead regular coordination meetings across teams to align on operations and contractual obligations
Act as the O&M point of contact for projects in development or under construction
Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
3+ years of experience in the renewable energy sector
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus
Experience in data analysis and performance reporting, and working knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and contract implementation
Willingness to travel at least 20% (domestic and international) and ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport
