ACCIONA Energía is seeking a Wind Turbine Technician to join a team dedicated to maintaining wind turbines and their surrounding facilities. This role involves assembly, testing, repair, and preventive maintenance of turbine generators and related equipment while ensuring compliance with industry safety standards.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure wind turbine performance and reliability.  

  • Safety analyses and regulatory compliance with strict adherence to industry protocols. 

  • Accurate documentation of maintenance activities to track performance and operational trends. 

  • PPE usage and strict safety procedures for efficient and safe task execution. 

  • Root Cause Analysis support to diagnose equipment failures and enhance reliability. 

  • Collaboration with engineers and field teams to improve efficiency. 

Required Skills and Competencies

About You 

  • Hands-on problem solver excelling in fast-paced environments with strong technical skills  

  • Experienced with hand and power tools, capable of working independently with keen attention to detail 

  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing 300-foot ladders 

  • Comfortable working in various conditions, including outdoor environments 

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (technical or college education preferred) 

  • Credentials: Valid driver’s license, ability to obtain a U.S. passport 

  • Certification in medium- and high-voltage equipment preferred 

  • Willingness to travel as needed
