ACCIONA Producciones y Diseño (APD) has reached an agreement to purchase the Spanish event agency Auriga, aiming to consolidate its position as leader in the event management sector, providing customers with a comprehensive brand management service.
APD, a worldwide leader in cultural engineering and museography, is working towards growth in the events area with the incorporation of Auriga, a Spanish benchmark event production agency. Auriga is highly valued within its sector and has both a consolidated client portfolio and a proven team of professionals. Auriga is also one of the most prized agencies in the market. Balba Camino, Auriga's general manager, will be APD's events division manager, reporting to the director, José María López-Galiacho.
Auriga was founded in 1999 as a sports events agency and has broadened its activity to become a global events agency with a team of 75 professionals. In 2018 it planned and executed more than 225 campaigns and carried out close to 800 events in different areas such as automotion, drinks and spirits, technology, decoration, beauty, communication, etc.
ACCIONA Producciones y Diseño (APD) is a leading company in the development of large-scale projects involving a combination of technology and interactivity in the areas of museums, exhibitions, expo pavilions, events, multimedia shows and indoor designs. Founded in 1990, it has a team of 200 professionals throughout Europe, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East.
