Eco-efficient construction
ACCIONA applies eco‐efficiency criteria in the design and construction of buildings to housing promotion activities.
Measures fall into three broad groups of activities:
- Rational water consumption.
- Energy savings.
- Construction, habitability and sustainable design.
ACCIONA's R&D and innovation department continues to develop projects for finding eco‐efficient solutions for building design and construction, coupling renewable technologies, bioclimatic architecture parameters and new materials that promote lower energy and water consumption during the use of the building.
Similarly, the selection of building materials is always done under stringent quality and environmental efficiency standards.
