ACCIONA Infrastructure recognises best practices in site management

These awards, now in their eighth year, recognise cooperation and commitment to excellence in management on the part of the companies' teams.
On 27 June, ACCIONA Infrastructure presented the 8th Annual 2007 Site Management Awards in recognition of best practices in Safety, Quality and the Environment, and Site Management.
ACCIONA implements Saving, Casual Clothes, and Sustainability Plan for second consecutive year

Last year energy savings totalled approximately 6.5%.
ACCIONA has launched its Saving, Casual Clothes, and Sustainability Plan for the second year, which calls for office temperatures to be set at between 23 and 24 degrees, one to two degrees warmer than usual, and advocates a more relaxed dress code to improve employees' comfort; the plan is effective from 23 June to 15 September.
ACCIONA Real Estate developing an eco-efficient office complex in Zaragoza

ACCIONA Real Estate is developing Oficinas Plaza, a 10,700 m2 eco-efficient office complex in the Zaragoza Logistics Platform.
The eco-efficient offices have 120 m2 of photovoltaic solar panels and will avoid the emission of around 15 tonnes of CO2 per year, equivalent to the environmental benefit of 1,250 trees absorbing CO2.

The panel of judges was comprised of Bigas Luna, Miguel Bardem, Rafael Doctor, Toni Segarra and Julio Medem.

ACCIONA awarded contract to expand Convention Centre in Campeche (Mexico)

The budget amounts to 220 million Mexican pesos,i.e. approximately 16 million euro.
ACCIONA Infraestructuras México SA has been selected by the Government of the State of Campeche to expand the Centro de Convenciones Campeche XXI, in the city of San Francisco de Campeche in southeast Mexico; the project is worth 220 million pesos (16 million euro).
