The Opportunity
We are looking for a Corporate Development and Innovation Senior Advisor to come join our team in Sydney. In this key role you will drive the Group’s growth by leading corporate development and strategic initiatives to maximise profitability.
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Development and Innovation, it spans two key areas: Corporate Development & M&A, where it oversees strategic transactions, special projects, and business planning; and Innovation & Scouting, identifying new ventures, start-up investments, and breakthrough opportunities to future-proof the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead corporate development initiatives including mergers and acquisitions, investments, divestments, and special projects outside the ordinary course of business.
Manage the investment lifecycle across assets, divisions, and new ventures, while overseeing internal restructures to align with strategic goals.
Identify and evaluate new market opportunities to support long-term business growth
Conduct financial modelling and market analysis to support strategic initiatives and uncover innovative, entrepreneurial ideas that create synergies across Acciona entities.
Collaborate with Business Development leads and department heads to drive Acciona’s innovation agenda, including structured investment planning in startups.

Confidence and persuasive communication are key to gaining stakeholder commitment and driving collaboration.
The role requires the ability to influence cross-functional teams and work directly with senior leaders, including Directors, supported by a Bachelor of Commerce and at least five years of operational and management experience in the construction industry.
