The Opportunity:
As part of our significant business growth, we are seeking a Senior Estimator to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing detailed quantity take-offs and estimating support for various projects, developing and maintaining standard estimating processes, and ensuring that proposals are accurate and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive cost estimates and coordinate proposals for assigned projects.
Provide area-specific forecasts and regularly report on project status.
Manage multiple bids simultaneously and serve as the liaison between the estimating team and senior management.
Revise and update estimates as necessary, implementing changes to ensure accuracy.
Maintain strong client relations as the primary contact for proposals.
Evaluate customer documents for tender, bid, and quotation purposes.
Required Skills and Competencies
Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to coordinate resources effectively.
Proactive approach, with a focus on initiative and innovation in work processes.
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities, fostering strong working relationships.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
