Holds a degree in Business and Economics from the School of Financial Studies (CUNEF) and an Executive MBA from the Business Institute.
Began his career in 1997 as an Audit Analyst working for PRICE WATERHOUSE COOPERS in MADRID, SPAIN where he was ultimately promoted to Senior Corporate Finance Analyst.
In 2000, he moved to New York to work as an Associate in the Corporate Finance Department of BBVA Securities Inc in charge of advising Latin American companies on mergers, acquisition and takeover bids. During this time, he was responsible for the equity syndication area in the placement of the American tranches of Spanish and Latin American companies.
Returned to Spain in 2004 as Vice President of the Leveraged Finance Department for Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A., working in close collaboration with the Bank's risk management area.
Has worked for BNP Paribas since 2005 as the Director of the Acquisitions Financing Department for Spain and Portugal, where he is responsible for structuring and executing acquisitions for corporate clients.
In addition, has taught master's level courses at the BBVA School of Finance.
Speaks Spanish, English and French.
He belongs to the Boards of Directors of HEF Inversora and La Sin Rival, S.L.
